Lucid DreamingDream Journaling

Dream Journaling

Dream journaling is the fastest way to improve dream recall, which is the foundation of lucid dreaming.

The 2-minute morning method

  1. Don’t move much when you wake up—replay the dream in your mind first.
  2. Write keywords (people, places, emotions, weird details).
  3. Expand into 3–10 sentences.

If you remember nothing, write: “No recall” + one thing you felt upon waking (tired, calm, anxious).

What to track

  • Recurring themes (school, flying, being late, etc.)
  • Dream signs (impossible architecture, repeated characters, “off” physics)
  • Sleep context (late caffeine, stress, alcohol, naps)
